We are looking to hire a full-time Small Animal Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our long-term staff at Andrews Veterinary Hospital.

We are a small but very busy 1 full-time doctor practice with a tenured and hard-working support staff. While experience is preferred, we will not discriminate for lack of experience for the right candidate if they are licensed, hard-working, display a strong work ethic, and are motivated to learn. Our tenured veterinary nurses have, an almost unheard of, 100 years of combined experience and we all love to train.
We are here to accentuate the human/animal bond by educating clients on optimal veterinary care. We seek candidates that meet the following requirements:
- Able to work at a fast pace and with intention
- Comfortably communicate with people (sometimes in difficult situations)
- Communicate information to the technical staff and doctors
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs and are capable of standing for long periods.
- Knowledge of, or interested in learning technical skills required for the job (blood draws, radiographs, catheter placement, etc)
- Must love pets and their 2 legged humans that care for them
- Ensures the hospital is clean and the patient is comfortable
